Jerry Lee Lewis (* 29. September 1935 in Ferriday, Louisiana, USA) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rock'n'Roll-Pionier. Leben Nachdem er aus einem Priester-Kolleg hinausgeworfen worden war, startete der Sänger und Pianist seine Karriere 1956 beim Plattenlabel Sun Records von Sam Phillips in Memphis, Tennessee, bei dem auch Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison und Carl Perkins unter Vertrag waren. Seinen ersten kleinen Hit hatte er 1956 mit dem Country-Stück Crazy Arms...
